A good evening is rarely loud. It is built from small things — the fire that is kept alive, the glass that is quietly refilled, and the calm hand that makes sure everything simply happens, at nature's own pace.

A meal is never just a meal.

At Livland the table is where people meet. Guests from around the world share food, stories and laughter around dishes built on local ingredients and Northern Norwegian tradition. Our signature is Planken — Arctic Sharing: shared platters served once each evening, at nature's pace.

A living encounter with one of Norway's oldest breeds.

At Livland you meet the Old Norwegian sheep — often called the Viking sheep. A breed shaped by the northern climate, rooted in the Viking Age, and still part of everyday life on the farm.

A dark sky, on our doorstep.

Between September and April, Livland becomes one of Lofoten's most reliable aurora locations. We hold a second evening in reserve. When the sky agrees, we simply step outside.
