About VISDI

We were built
by this coast.

VISDI develops a small collection of Arctic experiences from Livland Gård on the northern side of Austvågøy, Lofoten. Each one is designed with local knowledge, small groups, and a deep respect for the landscape it takes place in.

The way we work

We do not think of ourselves as a tourism company. We think of ourselves as curators — people who spend a long time choosing what is worth showing, and a longer time protecting it.

Every experience combines several elements: Arctic nature, local culture, storytelling, food, history, science, innovation, sustainability and knowledge. Nothing is decorative.

We do not sell trips. We build memories that outlive them.

What we hold to

Six values, written down once and kept quietly.

01Value

Authenticity

Nothing staged. Nothing invented for visitors.

02Value

Knowledge

Every guide has spent a decade in what they teach.

03Value

Silence

We treat quiet as a resource, not an absence.

04Value

Respect

For the coast, its people, and the guest at the table.

05Value

Long memory

We design for what you will still feel a year from now.

06Value

Small scale

Fewer guests, longer stays, deeper contact.

Work with us
